PREACHER NEXT WEEK
Pastor Alex will be in New England--on vacation and attending a family
wedding--from June 21 through 29. Pastor Elaine is on a mission trip to
Ukraine through June 26. The Rev. Jeannette Tangemann, retired Pastor
of the Buckland UCC, will be on call for hospital visits and/or other
pastoral needs during this period. Jeannette also will preach both services
on Sunday, June 22. She can be reached at 419-657-2196. Her cell phone

The ALTAR FLOWERS are in celebration of Mike & Susan
Bartlett’s 28th wedding anniversary which was June 7th.
ORGAN RECITAL
June 19th at 7:30 PM by Steve Fischer at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church,
free will offering accepted. A reception to follow concert. Wapakoneta
native, Steve Fischer, received his Bachelor of Music degree from the
University of Cincinnati, Conservatory of Music, and his Master of Music
degree in organ performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music. He
now lives, works, and studies in Oklahoma.
MISSION
PROJECTS - OPPORTUNITIES TO VOLUNTEER
• Work weekends for Silver Street cemetery include June 27 &
28 9AM - 12PM. Please bring lobbers, gloves, and drinking water.
• “CLEAN-UP SUNDAY” - July 13th. The congregation is
invited to participate in a "cleanup" day in a specific area
of the city after the 10:15 worship on July 13th. This is a DRESS-DOWN
Sunday! More details will be given closer to the date, but please plan
to join us..

Alan and Elaine Mikesell and the rest of the group traveling to Ukraine
this week thank you for your generous gift of vitamins to be given to
people in need. They had to work very hard to get all of the vitamins
packed up in the suitcase, because everyone was so generous! These vitamins
will be a blessing to many people.
NURSERY
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
While the construction continues to create our new nursery, we will have
a “temporary” nursery in the Multi-Purpose room. Volunteers
are needed to serve in this area. Please sign up outside of the nursery
(the Multi-Purpose room during construction!)
