1850 to 1900
Strife within St. John’s Lutheran Church In the mid-1850s, St. John’s Lutheran Church faced a situation that would try the faith of any congregation. Karl Prüser had not attended services at St. John’s Church for several years and requested his release from St. John’s Lutheran Church, so he could attend St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wapakoneta.
