Over the decade in which we have taken on this pillar of ministry, we have seen this mission change and grow in so many ways! Especially post-Covid, our food ministries have increased ten-fold. These ministries have given St. Paul the local reputation as: “The Church That Feeds People”

• Takeout Tuesdays: A free meal given out every Tuesday evening serving on average 200+ meals weekly. Reservations requested. Please call the church office at 419-738-2215

• Ministerial Association Meal Vouchers: In collaboration with the Wapakoneta Area Ministerial Association(WAMA), St. Paul UCC is the hub to provide meals to anyone in need who has been presented a WAMA meal voucher by any of the local participating Churches or Help Services. Though this ministry is paid for by WAMA, St. Paul UCC oversees the distribution of these meals whenever there is a need.

• Monthly Large Scale Food Distribution: In partnership with the West Ohio Food Bank, St. Paul UCC provides the volunteers to help distribute thousands of pounds of food to upwards of 300 families on a monthly basis.

• Fall Festival Concessions: During our annual fall festival, all concessions are free of charge to anyone attending our fall festival activities. Held usually in September.

• Summer Lunch Program: St. Paul UCC oversees 2 of the local “Summer Lunch” Programs in the Auglaize County Area. Though It is a Government funded program for school children, St. Paul goes above and beyond and covers the cost of adult and toddler meals so that in the summer ALL may find a meal Monday through Friday.

Beyond our many free meal Ministries, we have a wonderful team of Chefs that provide many meals as fundraisers to support the many ministries of the church!

Including: Gumbo Sales, Shrimp Boils, BBQ Rib Dinners, Soup Sunday, Cookie Walk, Heifer Sunday and MANY MORE!!!
