Making Disciple

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
— John 13:34–35 (NRSV)

Part of the excitement of ministry is seeing how “Making Disciples” has changed over the years! Most Recently our church invested heavily in equipment during the Pandemic to be able to live stream Sunday Services on YouTube and via our website. Prior to Covid, we had Bible studies and offered Sunday School for all ages.  We are resuming in-person Sunday School and after-school Wednesday Christian education for almost 40 children, over half of whom are not members. Confirmation became creative throughout Covid and has returned to a normal schedule also.

As we are in an interim season, between called pastors, we are currently in the process of re-imagining and discerning where and how God is calling us to create disciples moving forward into 2023 and beyond! In our dedication to assist those going into ministry, St. Paul UCC has a long-standing Living Endowment fund to financially assist those discerning a call to a life of ministry.
